Fabricator / Metal Shaper – SaltWorks MFG

SaltWorks MFG is looking for a high-level Fabricator / Metal Shaper who lives and breathes custom automotive craftsmanship.
This is not production work.
This is coachbuilding, problem-solving, design, fabrication, and execution at the highest level.

We build award-winning customs, hot rods, trucks, and one-off vehicles using traditional craftsmanship mixed with modern technology including:
- TIG welding
- Metal shaping
- Metal forming
- CNC laser cutting
- 2D Cad layout
- Hand fabrication
- Full custom assembly
If you understand body lines, symmetry, proportions, gaps, and flow without needing someone to explain it to you — you may fit here.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong fabrication and metal shaping ability
- Experience with TIG welding, sheet metal, and custom fabrication
- Ability to build clean, serviceable, high-end work
- Understanding of vehicle construction and assembly
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Pride in craftsmanship and cleanliness
- Positive attitude and willingness to improve
- Passion for hot rods, customs, trucks, and automotive culture
Bonus Skills
- English wheel
- Pullmax / power hammer
- Aluminum fabrication
- Coachbuilding experience
- CAD experience
- CNC laser familiarity
- Suspension and chassis fabrication
- Mechanical assembly experience
